Hey there, we're Brad Ryan & Jeff Berezny, a couple of vanlifers who created WanderPins out of our shared passion for exploring and discovering those hard-to-reach, stunning spots - and sharing them with others.

Throughout our travels, along with good friends (shoutout to vanlife veteran Sante Kotturi and many others), we've stumbled upon some truly epic locations to camp in Western North America.

We wanted to share these spots with friends, but there was no easy way to share them privately. Google Maps lacks many features, and other travel apps are either too public, overly commercialized, spammy, gamed, or not updated enough.

We strongly felt that there was a need for a camping/travel app that focused on privacy, not sharing data with advertisers, and high-quality of data. In short, a camping/vanlife travel app with recommendations just from your friends, who have shared interests and values - not from strangers.

Furthermore, it frustrates us seeing many travelers mistreat camping spots – leaving messes, disrespecting locals, or overstaying. We don't want to share pins of camping spots with just anyone, risking them being overrun by people who might not treat them with care.

That's why we created WanderPins.

It's a simple app that lets you pin incredible campsites and hot spots, and share them privately with your friends. For us, privacy and respect are at the core of WanderPins. They're what keep the spirit of vanlife in harmony with nature and local communities, and if we don't focus on it, this incredible nomad life that many of us live is at risk of existing at all.

We're all about exploring uncharted territories and helping others do the same. This is just the beginning and want to build this together with the community, so come wander with us, we're pumped to have you on the journey with us!
